Originally the Idlewood Theatre in the 1940s, The Vine has a long history in Midtown and has transformed to be an awarded local venue. The Vine is a member of the Better Business Bureau and the National Association of Cater Executives. It was has won awards for 2004 Mid-South Wedding Show and the 2004 Southern Women’s Show for decorating and design. It is advertised in several wedding magazines and it is a fabulous place to have your wedding!  The Vine is also holds much experience in hosting philanthropic events. The venue has hosted events such as Friend’s for Life’s “Night in Red Masquerade Ball,” the LeBonheur Children’s Hospital Silent Auction and Fundraiser, the Hope House Charity Auction, the MARC Christmas Party, The Midtown Artist’s Market 2003 Christmas Bazaar, The Cystic Fibrosis Wine Opener, a benefit for St. Jude,  Karoke for a Cause, The Crisis Center, and the Make a Wish Foundatrion.  The best part about The Vine? Not only can you rent the venue, but you can also have your event catered. Delicious menus are offered for seated dinners or buffets.
